How do you log flights?
We have a Crew Center which we believe is the most efficient and is the easiest way to log flights.
Once you rank up, can you still fly aircraft at an earlier rank?
Of course! Pilots can always log flights from previously unlocked aircraft. Ranking up simply gives pilots a wider variety of aircraft and routes to fly but flying an older route is perfectly fine too.
How can I join the staff team?
Unless we advertise a staff roll on the community, you cannot become staff right when you join. The best way to become staff is by being active in chat and climbing the ranks, this shows your dedication to the VA and increases your chances of becoming staff if you apply for an open role.
Does BAVA hold any events?
Yes. We provide an established route for each FNF where pilots can log double time for that route. In addition, we have official events in which, we post on the IFC that anyone can join and feel the BAVA community. Lastly, we have TWFTs, this stands for Tonight We Fly Together. These are setup by a group of pilots where at least two times a week pilots have an planned flight to a destination. If you are of rank to use the chosen aircraft you get double time if not you get the flight time.
